Data Scientist- AI/AI Agent

Rate: 70-80/hr

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Agent Engineer with hands-on experience in building and extending intelligent agents using modern frameworks. This role involves designing agent-based systems, integrating coding agents into workflows, and ensuring observability and reliability for LLM-powered products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI agents leveraging Claude Code/Claude Agent SDK and other agent toolkits.
• Architect and implement agent workflows for coding automation with feedback loops.
• Collaborate with data engineering and product teams to integrate agents into data pipelines and product features.
• Apply best practices for agent design, including understanding paradigms and extensibility.
• Implement observability and monitoring for LLM-based systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• Stay current with foundation models, their differences, and emerging trends in AI agent technology.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in building and deploying AI agents.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Bash, and SAS, with version control expertise in Git.
• Deep understanding of agent building blocks, coding agent paradigms, and extension strategies.
• Familiarity with Claude Code/Claude Agent SDK and at least one other agent toolkit.
• Experience with observability tools for LLM products and performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of data pipelines and integrating agents for automated coding workflows.

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to MLOps and LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding of feedback-driven agent optimization.
