Job Opportunity: Reporting Analyst – BI Migration

About the Role

We’re looking for a Reporting Analyst to play a key role in our Business Intelligence migration journey. This is a unique opportunity to help decommission legacy reporting tools (IBM Cognos, Excel ODBC) and transition our organization into a modern reporting environment with Google Looker.

You’ll be at the center of rationalizing existing reports, guiding users through change, and building standardized, scalable dashboards that empower smarter decision-making.

What You’ll Do

• Cognos Rationalization: Catalog, assess, and streamline existing reports and dashboards.
• Excel ODBC Migration: Transition ERP-linked Excel reports into Looker, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Ad Hoc Reporting: Deliver timely reports in Cognos during the transition phase.
• Looker Development: Design and implement modern dashboards and templates in Looker.
• Quality Assurance: Validate migrated reports, conduct UAT, and incorporate feedback.
• Governance & Compliance: Uphold data governance, security, and compliance standards.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of BI reporting and analytics experience.
• Strong expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics (authoring & administration).
• Hands-on experience with Google Looker (LookML, dashboard design).
• Solid SQL and data modeling skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerQuery, and data extraction.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
