In this role, you will support the design team in solving UX challenges and contribute to creating innovative design solutions. What you’ll do

• Contribute to UX Solutions: Assist in designing solutions for product problems under the guidance of senior / lead designers, focusing on enhancing the overall user experience.
• Design Execution: Design user interfaces, interactions, and user flows, translating wireframes and prototypes into high-fidelity designs ready for engineering handoff in an agile environment.
• Support Design Systems: Work with the team to utilize and contribute to the existing design system, ensuring consistency across products.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and researchers to implement design solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
• Apply User Insights: Participate in user research activities and apply findings to inform design iterations under mentorship.
• Support Product Improvement: Execute design updates and contribute to product improvements based on data and team objectives.
• Seek Growth: Actively seek and incorporate feedback from senior designers, product managers, and peers to continuously improve design skills and process.
• Positive Contribution: Bring enthusiasm and a proactive attitude to the team, contributing to a positive and growth-oriented work environment.
• Design Documentation: Prepare and organize design files and documentation for reviews and engineering handoff, clearly articulating design decisions.

What you’ll need

• Experience: 2-5 years of UX or Product Design experience, or equivalent relevant education/portfolio.
• Design Foundation: A strong portfolio showcasing fundamental design craft, an understanding of user-centric principles, and proficiency in designing for web and mobile applications.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) and familiarity with basic design systems principles.
• Problem-Solving: A curious mindset and ability to contribute to solving design problems while understanding the balance between user needs and business objectives.
• Collaboration: Good collaboration and teamwork skills, with experience working in a team-based, agile setting.
• Communication: Ability to clearly articulate design concepts and rationale to team members.
• User Research: Awareness of and willingness to participate in qualitative and quantitative research activities.

Plus, it’s great if you have experience with

• Designing simple features related to AI-powered experiences.
• Basic experience utilizing AI tools to enhance the design workflow.
