We are representing a major healthcare organisation in Singapore seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to drive strategic security initiatives across its network of institutions. This position offers the opportunity to safeguard mission-critical clinical systems, enhance digital resilience, and shape the long-term cybersecurity direction of a large healthcare ecosystem.
About the Role
In this executive leadership role, you will oversee the organisation’s cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management functions. You will be responsible for protecting essential digital platforms, including clinical applications, electronic health records, telehealth services, and medical device networks. The position involves driving enterprise-wide security frameworks, guiding technology decisions, and partnering closely with national agencies and internal stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of digital security.
Responsibilities
- Lead the organisation’s cybersecurity strategy, vision, and long-term roadmap.
- Oversee enterprise-level governance, compliance, and risk management for all ICT and digital healthcare systems.
- Establish security policies, standards, and frameworks tailored to complex healthcare environments.
- Review, assess, and implement advanced security technologies and solutions.
- Provide strategic leadership for security across electronic health records, telehealth platforms, and connected medical technologies.
- Foster strong collaboration with national regulatory bodies and technology partners to align with industry-wide security standards.
- Drive organisation-wide cybersecurity awareness and training programmes.
- Serve as the primary security adviser to senior executives, clinical leadership, and key stakeholders.
- Build, mentor, and manage high-performing cybersecurity teams.
- Promote a strong culture of cybersecurity across all departments.
- Support strategic planning and decision-making related to digital transformation and emerging technologies.
- Ensure system availability, data integrity, and robust protection of sensitive patient information.
- Undertake additional leadership responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, CGEIT, PMP, or equivalent.
- Minimum 20 years of relevant cybersecurity experience, including leadership roles within healthcare industry.
- Strong expertise in electronic health records, medical device security, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in security frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27000 series.
- Deep technical knowledge across network, endpoint, cloud, and application security.
- Excellent executive leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven experience collaborating with senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
