Team

We are seeking an AI Data Scientist – Product Owner to bridge the gap between business needs and AI-driven solutions. This role combines product ownership with technical understanding of AI application development. You will lead the delivery of Generative AI (GenAI) use cases, manage vendors, and ensure solutions align with business objectives and user expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership (Primary Focus)

• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Define and prioritize AI product roadmaps and backlogs.
• Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of GenAI use cases, ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes.
• Manage external AI vendors and ensure solutions meet performance and compliance standards.
• Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on product features.
• Ensure adherence to Responsible AI principles, data privacy, and governance standards.

AI Engineering & Development (Secondary Focus)

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and Generative AI models.
• Build and maintain scalable AI/ML pipelines and infrastructure using modern tools and frameworks.
• Support MLOps and LLMOps practices including model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to transform prototypes into production-ready applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in AI product management and engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and Generative AI frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Hands-on experience with tools such as HuggingFace, LangChain, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of AI governance and compliance standards.
• Insurance domain knowledge is preferred
