Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach

Type: Direct Hire / Permanent

Location: Plano, TX (or New Jersey)

Work Setting: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week

About the Position

We are supporting our client in hiring a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach to lead an Agile transformation for a team with no existing Agile framework in place. This is a hands-on, senior-level position responsible for establishing Agile processes from the ground up, driving cultural change, and coaching both technical teams and leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Introduce and implement Agile practices and frameworks from scratch
• Coach and mentor both team members and leadership on Agile mindset and execution
• Independently lead all Scrum ceremonies
• Establish Agile processes, discipline, and accountability
• Drive true Agile transformation—not just daily standups
• Partner with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Utilize Jira and Confluence for Agile planning and documentation

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Agile/Scrum experience
• Proven success leading Agile transformations for teams new to Agile
• CSM or PSM certification
• Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership presence
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Retail or supply chain industry experience
• SAFe experience
• ICP-ACC or other Agile Coaching certifications
