Senior .NET Developer – Trading Platform Integration (Permanent)


We’re partnering with a leading global technology consultancy that delivers cutting-edge solutions to the financial services industry. They have a strong track record in implementing and integrating advanced trading platforms for major hedge funds and investment firms.


This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile hedge fund initiative to implement and migrate a next-generation trading platform. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, collaborating with stakeholders and showcasing your work directly to end users.


The Role


  • Contribute to the development and integration of a sophisticated trading application supporting:
  • Pre-deal origination and post-trade lifecycle management
  • Workflow configuration and business support
  • Risk system integration
  • Operations and finance connectivity
  • Reporting, reconciliation, and accounting
  • Participate in the migration to a new platform built on .NET (C#) and Microsoft SQL, hosted on-prem or via AWS.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.


What I am Looking For


Essential Skills

  • Strong experience with trading platforms (Orchestrade experience essential)
  • Advanced programming skills in C#/.NET
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and database technologies
  • Ability to deliver production-ready code under deadlines
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum)
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Financial markets experience


Desirable


  • DevOps and cloud experience (AWS preferred)
  • Understanding of investment banking workflows
  • Exposure to asset classes: Credit, Equities, IRD, FX
