Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from various sources.
- Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and data visualisations to provide actionable insights.
- Explore and implement generative AI models for tasks such as synthetic data generation and process automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and recommend data-driven and AI-powered solutions.
- Build and deploy scalable data pipelines and maintain model performance in production.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Over 6 years of solid and proven experience as a Data Scientist, supported by a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python and R.
- Skilled in data manipulation libraries and machine learning frameworks.
- Extensive exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP) and generative AI models and techniques.
- Experience working on Databricks (Desirable)
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with database technologies and query languages.
- Experience working with big data technologies.
- Familiar with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Matplotlib.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into actionable business outcomes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Holds a degree in data science or a related field.
