👥 Your role in the team

• We are looking for a team oriented Software Developer (all genders) with a passion for coding, architecture and creating reliable and maintainable software.
• As a software developer at CNS you will be working together with your team on the evolution of our applications. You will write new modules and services and improve existing ones.
• Your main focus will be writing clean and tested source code and reviewing source code from your colleagues.
• You will also be working out the technical details for solving a given challenge and support your colleagues in doing so.
• Also writing technical documentation along the coding, including the documentation of configuration parameters or other administrative or architectural details will be part of your routine.
• Depending on your level of experience you will participate in architectural discussions and decisions.

🌟 Our expectations of you

Qualifications

• You have several years experience in industrial software engineering, preferably in safety critical domains.
• As a fullstack engineer you know the Java ecosystem and major tools and libraries such as Maven and Springboot.
• On the frontend you are familiar with React and a typical stack with tools such as yarn, webpack and libraries such as Redux, MaterialUI or Ionic. You have experience or a passion for working out well designed and usable frontends.
• An understanding about architectural styles and patterns will help you in the participation of architectural considerations and decisions with your team members.
• We always try to find a good balance between efficiency and well coordinated work and use elements from agile as well as traditional process models in our daily work. As we currently do not work with bi-weekly iterations and daily standups you like to work self organized.
• You are used to work on Windows, Linux and macOS (only for our mobile app), coding with IDEs such as Eclipse, Webstorm and IntelliJ, using GIT for source code management and Jira for issue tracking.
