Project Manager & Audiovisual Producer
Are you an experienced audiovisual project manager with a passion for high-impact digital communication?
Our client Social Media and Digital Multipliers Unit is looking for a proactive Project Manager & Audiovisual Producer to lead, coordinate, and deliver top-quality audiovisual content that supports the Parliament’s communication goals across Europe.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape compelling digital storytelling in one of the world’s most influential political institutions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage audiovisual production projects from concept through delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Act as the key liaison between the European Parliament and an external video production company operating under tender.
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners—editing scripts, collecting and providing feedback, and ensuring final output meets communication objectives.
- Work with stakeholders to organise filming locations, gather key information, and support video production logistics.
- Monitor social media video trends and platform-specific best practices to guide dissemination strategies.
- Develop, track, and optimise project timelines, resources, and budget allocations.
- Ensure all audiovisual materials align with the Parliament’s communication strategy, branding, and legal requirements.
- Lead briefing sessions, review production progress, and approve final deliverables.
- Maintain organised documentation for production workflows, contracts, and key project information.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and introduce innovative audiovisual solutions.
About You
- A collaborative team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and/or EU institutional communication—or a strong willingness to learn.
- Experience managing audiovisual production or media projects end-to-end.
- An eye for detail and strong visual storytelling instincts.
- Solid understanding of video production workflows (pre-production, filming, post-production).
- Experience managing external vendors or contract-based partners.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and thrive under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and production software.
- Knowledge of public sector or parliamentary environments is an advantage.
- Fluent English is essential; additional languages are a significant plus.
- Motivated to help communicate how the EU makes a tangible difference in people’s everyday lives.
