JUNIOR ELECTRONIC ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities

The Candidate has to manage, develop and support firmware as well as design and optimise electronic functional specifications for embedded systems (household appliances).

The main requirements are:

Good knowledge development of HMI (human-machine interface) firmware features, including display functionality and embedded graphics design development (Embedded Wizard or equivalent);
Good knowledge of C/(C++ is a Plus)- ARM cortex architecture (STM32);
Good knowledge of typical microcontroller architecture (8-32 bit) and of their peripherals;
Good Knowledge of version control software like SVN/GIT;
Good knowledge in main laboratory instrumentations like oscilloscopes, logic analyser, power metres, variac and programmers;
Competence in reading and understanding product specifications and market regulations and standards (UL, CE, ecc ...);
Competence in writing documentation, technical specifications, algorithms and procedures regarding product development and validation;
Competence in reading schematics and its translation into firmware specifications;
Competence in define coherent timings and in activity organisation;
Independence in interfacing with external departments (marketing, quality, production, mechanicals), consultants and suppliers.

The following skills and competences will be considered a plus in the profile selection:

Knowledge HW development and related tool (Altium);
Knowledge and thereof experience of main EMC issues in the process of product validation;
Knowledge of main wireless communication standards (BLE, Wi-Fi, ecc) and willingness to improve the competences on such aspects and drive the future product development;
Knowledge of Python programming for internal fast prototype and proof of concepts;
Competence in software development for test and diagnosis (C/C++/C# ...).

Job Profile

Qualifications, Knowledges:

Degree in computer science or electronic;
Previous experience of 1-3 years as firmware designer for embedded systems;
A good knowledge of English, accuracy, independence, ability to work in teams complete the profile.
