Job Summary

We are on the lookout for a Senior Level Designer!

In this role, you will shape memorable mission spaces and contribute directly to the player's sense of discovery, challenge, and immersion through atmospheric environments and systemic level layouts.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of complete game areas, from early concepts to final polish.
  • Build engaging, multi-layered environments that encourage exploration, creative thinking, and player choice.
  • Design mission hubs and systemic spaces that support observation, planning, stealth, and multiple playstyles.
  • Collaborate daily with Art, Narrative, AI, and Game Design to ensure each level is cohesive, atmospheric, and aligned with project vision.
  • Integrate environmental storytelling elements, contextual world details, and spatial clues directly into the environment.
  • Shape mission flow, encounter distribution, pacing, and readability for player navigation.
  • Translate playtest feedback into meaningful improvements, maintaining clarity and quality across all spaces.
  • Support junior designers and contribute to a positive, growth-oriented team culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Level Designer on AA/AAA titles, with at least one shipped project.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex, systemic levels from blockout to final polish.
  • Strong proficiency with Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) level-building tools and Blueprint for rapid prototyping.
  • Ability to craft multi-route, multi-layered environments supporting creative player agency and systemic gameplay.
  • Experience designing layouts that support patrol routes, perception systems, and reactive AI behaviors.
  • Strong sense of pacing, encounter design, spatial readability, and mission progression.
  • Ability to embed narrative clues and contextual storytelling directly into environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with experience aligning with Narrative, AI, Animation, and Design teams.
  • Confidence in owning mission areas and maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with scripting in-game events (Sequencer, Blueprint).
  • Familiarity with lighting for gameplay readability and atmosphere.
  • Experience with dynamic world elements, interactive props, or physics-driven systems.
  • Experience building systemic spaces that support stealth gameplay, alternative approaches, and emergent outcomes.
