Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Firewall Engineer, based in Vilnius, Lithuania, with the flexibility for some remote work. The Firewall Engineer will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting firewall solutions to ensure optimal security and performance of networks. Key tasks include implementing network security solutions, monitoring firewall activity for potential security threats, and performing regular security testing. Collaboration with internal teams and external clients to identify and resolve network vulnerabilities is also a crucial part of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Network Engineering and Network Security
• Skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security practices
• Strong abilities in Troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues
• Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other network security tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Relevant certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or similar are a plus
• Understanding of security compliance standards and best practices is advantageous
