We are looking for an experienced Controller (m/w/d) to join our Finance & Controlling team and support us in the Post Merger Integration.

Please note: depending on the location of the candidate, we are open to filling this position on our locations in Italy (Riese/Cusano), Slovenia (Grosuplje) or Germany (Mühldorf).

How you will contribute

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and reporting aspects of the post-merger integration phase for both Business Units of SteelcoBelimed: Infection Control and Life Science. You will work closely with the finance community, the integration Project Management team (PMO) and senior leadership to ensure alignment between all stakeholders and secure the right planning and reporting of costs as well as the realization of expected synergies. You will report to both EVP Finance of the respective Business Units.

Your tasks & responsibilities will include:

• Responsibility for the overall monitoring of PMI costs and synergies for both business units, in alignment with budget and business case assumptions.
• Ensuring proper standardized tracking of actual and planned costs and synergies.
• Acting as a connector between the operational controllers in charge of the different projects and the integration Project Management team (PMO).
• Integrating and managing at Joint Venture level: deliverables, dashboards and progress reporting.
• Presenting monthly PMI reporting and financial insights to senior management.
• Overseeing the budget of CAPEX investments, analysis the difference to the actuals.
• Following the progress of the JV planned activities compared to the plan.
• Developing new reporting and analytics/KPIs.

What you need to succeed

We are seeking a candidate who brings the following:

• Proven expertise in a controlling role, including direct responsibility and exposure to overall business operations.
• Demonstrated success working within a group company structure in a dynamic international/industrial environment.
• Experience collaborating effectively and managing financials with remote and cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience with post-merger integration (PMI) processes is a strong advantage.
• Proactive, 'can-do' mindset; willing to challenge the status quo.
• Ability to balance hands-on detail with a high-level (helicopter) view.
• Business fluent in English and very good Excel skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent.
