Join Our Team as a Software Engineer (.NET/C#) at Beyond Sports
If you are a developer who wants to look beyond standard backend code and apply your skills to real-world sports action, helping us analyse, clean, and enhance the data that powers the next generation of sports entertainment, this is the opportunity for you.
What Your Day Will Look Like
As a Medior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the systems that make sense of the chaos on the pitch. You will work on code that automatically detects the timing of key events—identifying a keeper save, a foul, or a shot purely from tracking data.
Each day, you’ll work with .NET and C# to extend our libraries for enhancing and validating sports data. You won't just be moving data; you’ll be building error detection systems that ensure our positional tracking is accurate and glitch-free before it reaches the viewers.
You will act as a vital link in our production chain, creating efficient data structures to exchange information with Game Developers and Data Scientists. You’ll apply Domain Driven Design (DDD) logic to translate complex business concepts (like the rules of a sport) into technical representations that our engines can understand.
What We Value
At Beyond Sports, we appreciate engineers who think before they type. We are looking for someone who can work independently but also thrives in an Agile environment where code reviews and constructive feedback are the norm.
You’ll Fit Right In If You
Tech Stack And Skill Requirements
You don’t need to tick every box, but here’s what we’re looking for:
Code that counts. You won't be building boring administrative dashboards. You’ll be building the tech that determines if a goal was scored in the Metaverse.
Mentorship and Growth. Work alongside seasoned experts who will help you sharpen your architectural skills and algorithmic thinking.
Global Impact. Your code will process matches for some of the biggest leagues in the world, creating content seen by millions.
We also make sure it’s a great place to grow:
If you want to move beyond standard CRUD development and start building systems that understand the game of football (and other sports) as well as you do, we’d love to hear from you.

At Beyond Sports, we appreciate engineers who think before they type. We are looking for someone who can work independently but also thrives in an Agile environment where code reviews and constructive feedback are the norm.
You’ll Fit Right In If You
- Think logically and mathematically. You enjoy the challenge of detecting patterns (like an offside or a goal) within raw data sets.
- Value clean architecture. You have the ability to apply Domain Driven Design to keep your code maintainable and logical.
- Are proactive. You don’t just spot an error in the tracking data; you build a system to fix it.
- Are a team player. You are ready to share knowledge, communicate clearly in English, and collaborate with teammates across different disciplines.
Tech Stack And Skill Requirements
You don’t need to tick every box, but here’s what we’re looking for:
- BSc or MSc in Software Engineering (or equivalent formal qualification).
- 2+ years of professional experience with C#/.NET development.
- Experience applying Domain Driven Design (DDD) logic.
- Strong algorithmic thinking: Ability to write logic that detects events and actions in data.
- Version Control: Ability to handle large projects using Git/Version Control.
- Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS is a bonus) is great, but a strong engineering mindset comes first.

We also make sure it’s a great place to grow:
- 25 days off per year – rest is part of performance
- Pension program – future you says thanks
- Company Lunches – no daily food logistics
- Gym card – stay sharp on and off the screen
- Fresh fruit, coffee, and Friday drinks
- Bi-monthly outings – get out, bond, reset
- Office games – FIFA, chess, or ping-pong to unwind
If you want to move beyond standard CRUD development and start building systems that understand the game of football (and other sports) as well as you do, we’d love to hear from you.
