Summary: The Software Engineer is primarily responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the internal business critical application IMS (Inventory Management System), ensuring efficient integrations with other internal systems and contributing to overall system performance and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and further development of the application.
- Management and optimization of integrations between IMS and other internal systems.
- Contributions to data quality, modeling, and structures associated with IMS.
- Analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving of application, database, and integrations.
- Participation in DevOps processes, including build, release, and deployment in Azure DevOps.
- Collaboration with internal domain experts to identify needs and prepare technical solutions.
- Continuous enhancement of system performance, security, and stability.
- Contributions to the implementation of changes in information architecture where appropriate.
- Involvement in the development and management of the customer portal and other Software Center systems.
- Solid experience with MSSQL (data modeling, optimization, and complex queries).
- Experience with Python, particularly Django and Celery.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Linux command-line operations.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for planning and version control.
- Experience with APIs and integrations, specifically REST and GraphQL.
- Experience with .Net and C#.
- Experience with ServiceNow.
- Location: Poland, Warsaw hybrid (2 days).
- Team Structure: Collaborative with internal domain experts.
- Working Tools: Azure DevOps, MSSQL, Python frameworks (Django, Celery).
