Role: Network Engineer
Location: Markham, Ontario
Work Type: 100% Onsite | Rotational shifts as needed
Experience: 5–8 years
Top Skills:
- Linux Administration
- Data center / lab environment experience
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (~50 lbs) and stand for long hours
Preferred Skills:
- Rack and stack, cabling, configuration, troubleshooting
- Cisco Layer 2 deployment
- Server hardware QA and issue resolution
Responsibilities:
- Rack, build, cable, configure, and provision servers
- Deploy and cable networking equipment
- Troubleshoot and test server hardware
- Resolve hardware issues via ticketing tools
- Travel when required
Additional Experience:
- OS installations (Windows Server, Linux, Unix)
- Strong cabling knowledge and port mapping
- Basic hardware troubleshooting
- RAID knowledge, web server/database installs (plus)
- Able to work without sponsorship
- Quick learner, able to multitask in fast-paced environments
