Position Overview
Join a high-impact engineering team within the global technology division, dedicated to delivering business growth for the Front Office team, Operations and others. This team collaborates closely with traders, sales personnel, and quantitative analysts to design and implement mission-critical systems used in global trading operations. Engineers contribute directly to the build-out of high-performance applications used for electronic trading, with a focus on cross-asset functionality and scalable system architecture.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimization of high-performance systems and applications for use in front-office trading
- Ensure code quality through robust unit and regression testing frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor peers and contribute to architectural planning, with a focus on performance, security, and operational reliability.
- Manage concurrent development streams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar engineering role.
- Proficient in Core Java (JDK 11+), with strong understanding of multi-threaded and event-driven programming paradigms
- Experience and knowledge in Capital Markets products and services will be highly advantageous.
- Solid understanding of automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices
