As Sr. Full Stack Developer, you will be an integral and crucial member of a small, focused team as it tackles the next wave of challenges and technology opportunities. Taking lead on critical development projects, you will contribute to business planning by offering technology advice, creative solutions, and resource planning to further the company’s strategic goals.

Critical Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient with PHP Laravel web framework
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and MVC design patterns
• Comfortable in a Linux environment using Git and appropriate build tools
• Front-end proficiencies: JavaScript ES5 and ES6, HTML5, and CSS3
• Back-end proficiencies: MySQL or equivalent relational database
• Thorough communication skills with a positive, collaborative attitude
• Ability to document new feature requirements and project status updates in a clear, concise manner
• Recommend, manage, and direct outside software developers to facilitate parallel development of multiple concurrent projects:
• - Act as design and project lead
• - Assist other tech team members, and leverage their skills as needed
• - Oversee and offer technology support for vendor partner resources
• Experience designing and implementing automated testing (e.g., PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk)
• Proficiency with modern development workflows, including pull requests, CI/CD, and code reviews
• Ability to responsibly leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve development velocity, documentation, and testing

• Aptitude and desire to creatively collaborate with business / customer service members
• Ability to take ownership and drive software projects to completion
• Experience with Vue.js framework or other equivalent front-end library

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex web applications using PHP/Laravel and Vue.js
• Collaborate closely with non-technical business owners and technical team to design, implement, and test new features and functionality

• Coordinate with technical team to facilitate design, development, and deployment of parallel ongoing projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless operation
• - 24/7 emergency availability for potential critical production issues
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, suggesting improvements and innovative solutions
• Create and optimize database schemas to support application requirements and platform scalability
• Lead the entire web applications development lifecycle from concept to delivery and post-launch support
• Help promote a collaborative, iterative design process with team, leaders, and customers
• Implement and maintain automated test suites to ensure stability before major events or releases
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve development efficiency and reduce technical debt
• Contribute to a maintainable codebase by documenting features, writing clean code, and participating in peer reviews
