UX Web Designer

Overview

We’re looking for a talented UX Web Designer to shape and enhance the user experience across our web ecosystem. In this role, you will translate business needs into intuitive, user-centred designs, guide the overall design direction, and uphold consistent UX and UI standards across pages and products. You will work closely with the Brand Manager and Product Manager to define requirements, refine user journeys, and ensure that every interaction aligns with our strategic goals. You will also collaborate with a developer who will support in executing builds, ensuring seamless implementation of your designs into fully functional digital experiences.

Core Responsibilities

UX & Design Execution

• Define UX principles and ensure consistent user journeys across the site.
• Translate user and business requirements into intuitive wireframes, layouts, and prototypes.
• Support the developer with clear design specifications for smooth implementation in WordPress.
• Maintain accessible, brand-aligned designs that follow WCAG and usability best practices.

Design Execution

• Create scalable and reusable page templates (e.g., events, case studies, insights, and campaigns).
• Design custom landing pages and micro-experiences.
• Provide graphic design support (image creation, curation, optimization) using stock images, icons, and AI-generated imagery.
• Document design standards in a design system and component library.

Technical & CMS Expertise

• Strong proficiency in WordPress (theme customization, template hierarchy, responsive design).
• Familiarity with HubSpot for marketing integrations (a plus).
• Ability to write and refine CSS for styling and responsive improvements.

Project Management

• Oversee web projects from concept to launch, ensuring timelines and quality.
• Coordinate with UX, content, development, and marketing teams.
• Manage workflows and prioritize tasks using PM tools.

Qualifications

• 4-6 + years in UX/UI design with web focus; 3+ years in project management.
• Expertise in WordPress; HubSpot experience a plus.
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
• Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles.
• Experience with project management tools; Asana experience a plus.
• Strong interest and familiarity with AI tools for content creation, image generation, and coding.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
