Within GDC Division, Our AIR (Analytics, Insights And Reporting) Tribe Supports The Needs For Advanced Analytics And Reporting From All The Entities Of The Euroclear Group. Our Scope Can Be Summarized As Follows

• Operating and leading the evolution of the Data & Analytics Platform (DAP) consisting out of a DataLake, the Group Data Warehouse and a new off-premise Operational Data Store aligned with new market evolutions.
• Key player in the AI CoE!
• Centre of Expertise for BI & Reporting.
• Provide project support and expertise to various business lines.
• Help to Build Azure Cloud Data Platform for tomorrow
  
  

Our AI Delivery Squad Helps To Transform Data Into Insights Using Techniques Such As Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, Mathematical Optimization, Etc. It Is Looking For An Expert Data Scientist

Your Profile

• Demonstrable record of successful hands-on experiences in the area of sophisticated analytics. Education in data science without previous practical hands-on experience will not be accepted.
• Proficient in Python. Knowledge of Scala and/or Spark is a plus.
• Proficient in relational database querying (SQL) or in data collection and transformation (ETL).
• Master analytical techniques such as machine learning, natural language processing, mathematical optimization, large language models…
• At ease with visualization tools like Power BI.
• Experienced with command line tools (UNIX) and version control tools like GIT.
• Know the Hadoop ecosystem (knowledge of the Cloudera distribution of Hadoop will be a plus).
• Has work experience with at least one Cloud Provider, preferably Azure Cloud.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as good customer relationship skills to present the results of a use case to different audiences (from end users up to division management). You are able to explain sophisticated concepts in a simplified manner.
• Experience implementing advanced analytics solutions into a well-controlled production environment.
• Able to learn quickly, adjust to changes and think creatively!
• Self-motivated and confident with a positive demeanor.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with attention to details.
• Past experience in agile development methodologies and make sure that the work you're doing contributes to the final product.
• Stay abreast of new tools and technologies to practice up-to-date data analytic strategies.
  
  

In addition

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in machine learning, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field, combined with strong IT skills. A relevant PhD can be valorised.
• 5+ years of experience in advanced data analytics.
• 5+ years of experience in Python.

The Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) division contributes to Euroclear’s competitiveness by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. Our teams deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients. We deploy changes into the production environment in a controlled and structured way that does not compromise production stability and we ensure applicative production support.
