Chief Scrum Master

Alexander Ash are seeking a Chief/Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across a complex, multi-workstream Application and Customer Migration Readiness Programme for a leading markets firm. You will oversee multiple Scrum teams, coach Scrum Masters, drive delivery predictability, and ensure all engineering, product, data, and operations workstreams are fully prepared for multi-phase migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple Scrum Masters and Agile teams.
• Ensure consistent Agile delivery practices across all workstreams.
• Coordinate sprint, release, and quarterly planning in line with migration timelines.
• Manage programme-level risks, dependencies, and impediments.
• Oversee readiness activities: platform capability, testing, UAT, data migration, customer comms, and operational readiness.
• Provide clear, senior-level reporting on delivery progress, blockers, and migration readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement and strengthen delivery predictability across teams.

Experience & Skills

• 7+ years as a Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead / RTE.
• Experience leading multiple teams in complex transformation or migration programmes.
• Strong scaled Agile knowledge (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong Jira/Confluence and delivery metrics capability.
