Cloud Security Engineer - Contract – Retail / E-Commerce
Oliver Bernard are currently working with an global Retail / E-Commerce company, based in London (and with a presence across Europe), who are looking to take on a Senior level GCP focused Cloud Security Engineer as part of plans to drive, scale, and secure their Cloud estate.
The incoming engineer will work in this team to improve security standards, practices, and processes across their Cloud platforms through a series of greenfield projects, and will work closely with Developers, DevOps / Platform Engineers and Architects in the process.
To be a suitable fit for this opening, the following experience is required:
- Wealth of experience in Security and / or DevSecOps capacities (at least 7-8 years)
- Strong knowledge of Security practices, including Identity & Access Management, Cloud Hardening and Remediation
- Experience deploying CPSM solutions
- Hands-on Cloud experience with GCP (Azure is also a nice to have)
- Strong production level experience with Kubernetes
- Capable across IaC with Terraform
- Proficient with at least one programming language
- Experience mentoring and coaching others from a Cloud Security perspective, is also a big bonus
This is a contract opening outside IR35, for an initial 6 months, and can offer £550-650 p/day.
