We’re looking for a self-driven Laravel Developer to help us build and maintain a suite of modern web apps. This is a remote role, we are looking for someone based in or around the South East corner of Queensland, Australia.

You’ll be joining a small, experienced team - collaborating closely and tackling tasks autonomously - so we’re after someone who can manage their own workload confidently. We are a busy small development agency. We are looking for someone who is able to work across multiple projects, working collaboratively with other senior developers.

The perfect canditate will have clear communication, a solid understanding of development processes and commercial-based thought processes.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing and maintaining several Laravel-based applications
• Working with PostgreSQL databases and optimizing for performance
• Managing deployments and CI/CD (DevOps experience essential)
• Building clean, well-tested APIs and integrating third-party services
• Working alongside front-end developers using Vue and React

What you’ll bring:

• Solid Laravel 10+ experience (+5 years)
• Strong PostgreSQL and database design skills
• Experience with Redis, TDD, and PHPUnit
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, webhooks, and RESTful architecture
• DevOps experience (Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment)

Nice to have:

• Frontend experience with Vue 3 (Composition API) or React
• A proactive mindset and great communication skills
