We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about networking, security, and keeping systems running smoothly within a remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, and maintain network systems, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-based networks
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents, outages, and performance issues
- Implement network upgrades, patches, and improvements
- Work closely with IT, security, and engineering teams to support infrastructure needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and processes
- Ensure compliance with security policies, best practices, and industry standards
- Assist with firewall management, routing, switching, and access control configurations
- 1–4 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a related networking role
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls
- Hands-on experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, or similar)
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
- Experience with monitoring tools and network troubleshooting utilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Network+) are a plus
- Fluent in English
- Must be based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time
