Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, visionary Senior Consultant to lead eCommerce strategy and growth initiatives for high-profile clients. This role is perfect for a Finnish-based professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys blending strategic leadership with hands-on delivery.

You will be the trusted advisor to clients, driving digital commerce innovation while inspiring and guiding internal teams. Your ability to build strong client relationships, understand complex business challenges, and deliver actionable solutions will be key to your success. You will be working in an exciting environment around e-commerce and digital solutions, often in teams with fellow Vaimoers and you report to our Experience Director.

What You’ll Do

• Lead with Impact: Develop and execute comprehensive eCommerce strategies aligned with client business goals. Step in to deliver critical work when needed.
• Client Partnership: Build trust and long-term relationships with senior stakeholders by deeply understanding their needs and challenges.
• Consultative Expertise: Advise on best practices in digital marketing, UX, platform selection, data analytics, and conversion optimization. Stay ahead of industry trends and technologies.
• Hands-On Delivery: Audit site performance, run workshops, run experiments, and build dashboards to accelerate client value.
• Team Guidance: Guide and involve Solution Consultants, UX/UI Designers, and Insights teams to deliver inspiring, clear, and actionable outputs.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics to measure success and continuously refine strategies to improve KPIs like conversion rates and revenue growth.
• Innovate & Grow: Identify new growth opportunities and implement solutions that enhance customer engagement and profitability.
• Thought Leadership: Represent Vaimo at industry events, contribute insights, and help shape the future of digital commerce.
  
  

Who You Are

• Experienced: 7+ years in eCommerce consulting with a strong focus on strategy, growth, and hands-on delivery. Experience with complex digital transformations and high-profile clients is a plus.
• Agency Background Preferred: You understand the fast-paced agency environment and can navigate diverse client ecosystems with ease.
• Client-Centric: Skilled at building trust and long-term relationships with senior stakeholders. You listen first and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Data-Savvy: Comfortable leveraging data and analytics to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI.
• Leader & Mentor: Proven ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams while actively contributing to deliverables.
• Communicator: Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas clearly and confidently.
• Curious & Adaptable: Passionate about continuous learning and staying ahead of eCommerce and digital marketing trends.
• Personality: Energetic, likable, and a bit unconventional - you thrive in a dynamic, sometimes chaotic environment and find fun in solving complex challenges.
