Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer (RTE)
📍 Location: Waterford County, Ireland
💼 Contract / Permanent Opportunities: 12 Months (Hybrid - 2 Days a week Onsite)
SRG is looking for an experienced Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer (RTE) to help build and guide high-performing Agile teams that deliver impactful digital and software solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering collaboration, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring smooth delivery through effective facilitation and coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and support Agile teams in applying Scrum and SAFe principles effectively.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure alignment between Product Owners, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to enable focus and productivity.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the team.
- Coach team members on Agile best practices and support their professional growth.
- Promote transparency, track delivery progress, and ensure successful sprint and release outcomes.
- Encourage collaboration across cross-functional teams and support coordination across Agile Release Trains.
Mandatory Skills:
- Scrum Masters with strong Agile delivery experience in large-scale enterprise software development, ideally in financial services or fintech. Experience working in offshore or global Agile teams and contributing to major tech programmes is essential.
- Must have collaborated with distributed development teams and worked within multinational IT service environments.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach (RTE experience an advantage).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification preferred.
