Position overview
Join our distributed Agile team to ensure top-quality solutions for leading industry clients through sharp analysis, complex system testing, and keen attention to detail
You'll join a distributed Agile team dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions for some of the biggest names in the industry. We are looking for an experienced .NET backend developer who can quickly bring value in a dynamic environment. This role requires a candidate who can easily travel to the UK/London, making someone based in the EU the preferred choice.
This position includes a sign-on bonus.

Modern .NET, React.js, AWS/GCP, Postgres/SQL databases
Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop and maintain scalable applications.
- Ability to analyze and maintain existent software applications
- Understand complex business domain and be comfortable with the existing code-based solutions
- Ensure that the acceptance criteria of user stories are met and failures in QA are limited
- Produce high quality code using Behavior and Test-Driven Development
- Embrace exposure to new architectures, cloud-based infrastructures, microservices and modern ways of working
Requirements
- Strong experience with C# and modern .NET
- Experience with React and testing frameworks like Jest
- Familiarity with containerized systems (ECS, Kubernetes)
- Skilled in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Tekton, etc.)
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with message-based architecture (SNS/SQS or similar)
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases; Postgres and JSON preferred
- Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Agile project delivery experience
- Ability to refactor code and work in fast-moving, complex domains
- Familiarity with cloud data stores like BigQuery
- Be able to diagnose issues via debugging, logging, and telemetry
- Ability and willingness to use software development techniques like pair programming or mob programming with remote team members according to project requirements
- Availability to adapt working hours to Pacific Time
- Able to work with business users to identify and resolve production issues
- Must be able to self-learn and be motivated to understand code written by others
- Good spoken English
Nice to have
- Experience with testing tools like Playwright and Selenium
- Skilled in building React components using Bootstrap
- Familiar with functional programming concepts
- Good understanding of design patterns and principles (SOLID, GO4)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years web development experience (media/entertainment industry is a plus)
- 1–2 years experience in Agile (Scrum and/or Kanban)
