Role Description

  • This is a flexible-time on-site position based in Riga, Latvia, for a Project Manager at TSI. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects, coordinating between teams, managing resources, ensuring timely deliveries, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Requirements for Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Higher education, preferably in project management, finance, or equivalent field;
  • Latvian proficiency at the highest level, good English language skills;
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of project administration (preferably, experience in KPVIZ)
  • Experience in project management for at least 1 year;
  • Familiarity with the legal framework for projects and national project management standards;
  • Good computer skills: MS Office
  • Ability to work independently and in a team;
  • Proactive approach and initiative;
  • Very good communication and organizational skills;
  • High precision and strong sense of responsibility;

Duties:

  • Plan and manage project risks and ensure monitoring of project plan implementation;
  • Plan deliveries and contracts, monitor contract execution within the project;
  • Prepare project documentation (interim reports, final reports, etc.);
  • Lead and coordinate human resources in the project;
  • Within one's competence, represent the university's interests in public and private sector institutions, organizations, etc.;
  • Attract project partners and maintain contact with them;
  • Conduct communication and business correspondence with company employees and involved institutions regarding project implementation issues, as well as support company employees in all administrative matters throughout all project phases (including coordinating meeting room reservations, preparing materials and presentations for meetings, and meeting minutes);
  • Ensure the organization of project training events for the target group and monitor their progress;
  • Ensure the implementation of project results dissemination activities;
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Department in organizing communication and publicity events;
  • Organize investment presentation events.
