Senior Project Manager – Luxembourg
This senior role leads complex IT and digital transformation projects within a global IT services provider. You will deliver large-scale programmes on time, within budget, and to the required technical and compliance standards, while aligning outcomes with client strategic objectives and adhering to the firm’s project governance framework.
Key responsibilities
- Act as single point of accountability for multimillion-euro projects from initiation to closure, defining scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Build and execute detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget tracking, risk management, and choice of methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Engage and manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including client executives, Project Sponsors, Digital Business Partners, and PMO.
- Oversee cross-functional teams of engineers, developers, architects, and analysts, providing direction, mentoring junior project managers, and driving continuous improvement.
- Monitor KPIs, produce executive-level status reports, and maintain contractual, regulatory, and financial controls.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, and compliance risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential qualifications and skills
- Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, systems integration, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity principles.
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, DORA) and similar) and IT security best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, MS Project, Jira, Confluence, and financial management of projects.
- Fluency in English and French; Italian is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with a track record of delivering under pressure in multinational environments.
