As a Senior Data Engineer for Search, you’ll help connect customers to the right products by ensuring our search engine has access to perfectly processed, real-time data. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and helps sellers showcase their products effectively.
What You Do As Data Engineer For Search
You’ll process massive datasets from multiple sources in real-time and batch, optimize performance to handle thousands of requests per second, and design/maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Google Cloud Platform. You’ll collaborate end-to-end on new features, work with stakeholders to solve technical challenges, and contribute to a clean microservice architecture using Go, Kotlin, and Python. You’ll help pivot the team towards creating more insights for consumer journeys and expand our user interface for business users.
Core Responsibilities
You’ll join the Search Department at Bol.com, working in a team that aggregates and enhances all available data to optimize search and provide insights for customer journeys. The team consists of four other engineers and a product manager, collaborating closely with other teams in the department.
