Overview
We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our growing UX team in Barcelona. As part of that team, you will be focused on designing and delivering B2C & B2B digital products that help customers and add business value. Specifically, you will work end-to-end and collaborate closely with cross-functional team members: You’ll research, create and deliver high-quality design outcomes from concepts to detailed UI design and systems (across multiple markets and platforms).
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Design, Product, Research, Content and Engineering teams to integrate design seamlessly throughout the product development process.
- Applying design principles to address a diverse range of customer needs and business requirements within an agile environment.
- Influencing the entire design process (end-to-end). You'll take intricate criteria and problems from start to finish, transforming them into final solutions using prototyping and testing. You'll work across different design fidelities and deliver high-quality, usable UI solutions and systems. Additionally, you will assist the team with user research and UX analysis activities (as needed).
- Effectively communicating and documenting your design decisions to foster collaboration and understanding.
- Working with design team members and other stakeholders to identify data-informed product opportunities and design solutions that add value to both customers and the business.
- Contributing to the evolution of our design system and utilizing it in the delivery process for digital products (across mobile-web and desktop platforms).
- Giving and soliciting feedback from the broader team to continually improve quality.
- Contributing to strategic decisions regarding the future direction of various digital products, and our user-centered design approach.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in roles such as UX/UI Designer / Product Designer.
- High English level that will be assessed at interview by the Talent Team.
- Agility of response and teamwork.
- Passionate about seeing the impact of design, not just executing tasks.
- Experience in creating and delivering features/products in an agile environment.
- Interaction design experience, including the use of prototyping tools to demonstrate flow and interaction dynamics based on people's needs and scalability considerations.
- Visual design experience: demonstrating proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography, and aesthetic sense.
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable using Figma for designs and prototyping.
- Design portfolio showcasing real-world case studies. Please refer to the portfolio submission guidelines below.
- Have prior experience with design systems.
- Have experience in facilitating design workshops.
- Have experience with user research activities.
- Have experience identifying opportunities, and making impactful decisions for both users and the business.
