👩 💻🧑 As a System Requirement and Test Engineer at Ivy Partners, you will:
- Collaborate directly with the Product Owner and Agile team to understand the product vision and roadmap priorities, translating business requirements into technical solutions while fostering a continuous improvement mindset.
- Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement and sprint planning by providing technical insights and feasibility assessments.
- Create and manage requirements using industry-standard tools (Polarion), ensuring complete traceability throughout the system lifecycle.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including test plans and test cases.
- Provide expert-level technical support and incident investigation, working closely with maintenance teams and customers.
- Perform integration tests with multiple surrounding equipment/systems, both manually and through automation.
- Participate in formal system testing activities such as Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Analyze and document issues/bugs in JIRA with precision and clarity.
- Maintain and update the Test Results Management tool.
- Actively participate and contribute to the "Testing" Community of Practice.
🏅 About You
You are our ideal candidate if you:
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in systems engineering and testing.
- Have a strong understanding of Systems Engineering lifecycle and standards.
- Are proficient with systems engineering tools (Polarion, JIRA, Confluence).
- Have experience in writing system requirements and extensive experience in system testing, particularly in complex system integration.
- Are knowledgeable of Python scripting for test automation (Squish framework); this is a plus.
- Have experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin.
- Are fluent in English or French (written and spoken), with French being an asset.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Are familiar with standards (ED-153, ED-109A, DO-178C); this is a significant advantage.
- Are adaptable, autonomous, have strong team collaboration skills, excellent organizational abilities, and effective time management skills.
- Can prioritize workload and meet deadlines while maintaining an analytical mindset with attention to detail.
