In this role, you will take ownership of our network landscape across hybrid environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security. You will drive operational excellence, coordinate improvements, support strategic initiatives, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including security, infrastructure, and operations.

As our future Network Team Lead within Hybrid IT, you will:

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of network engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of our hybrid network infrastructure (on-prem, cloud, WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, firewalls).
• Ensure network reliability, scalability, and security across all environments.
• Drive improvements and modernization initiatives in collaboration with our architect and cross-functional teams.
• Manage escalations and guide the team in solving complex network incidents.
• Coordinate with the security team on topics like segmentation, hardening, and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate and optimize existing network solutions and processes.
• Contribute to long-term planning, budgeting, and roadmap development.
• Participate in vendor management and technology assessments.

Your profile

You bring at least 5 years of experience in advanced network engineering roles and ideally previous experience in technical leadership or team coordination.

You also have:

• Strong technical understanding of networks, routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and hybrid/cloud networking.
• Experience in running and improving enterprise network environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and hybrid architectures.
• Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to coach team members, drive initiatives, and take ownership.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience/knowledge of tools, such as: ServiceNow, Cisco, PaloAlto, CheckPoint.
