About the Role

The IT Project Manager is responsible for defining objectives, planning, executing, and monitoring all IT projects within the organization. This role involves managing projects end-to-end—from initiation to closure—ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines, scope, budget, and quality standards.

You will coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders while ensuring adherence to project governance, methodologies, and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

• Manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring end-to-end delivery.
• Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, baselines, and schedules.
• Acquire and allocate project resources efficiently.
• Monitor and control quality across the project lifecycle and sprint delivery.
• Track and manage defects, risks, issues, dependencies, and the critical path.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and approved budget.
• Document project interdependencies, assumptions, and constraints.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Develop communication plans including method, frequency, and stakeholders.
• Communicate expectations clearly to team members and project stakeholders.
• Lead workshops, daily/weekly stand-ups, and steering committee meetings.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documents, and presentations.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with project management standards, tools, and organizational governance.
• Maintain adherence to PMO, QMS, Audit, and Risk management guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive project and business information.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and guide cross-functional IT teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage utilization, performance, timesheets, and contract renewals for project resources.
• Resolve conflicts and encourage effective team collaboration.
• Identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities.
• Build and develop high-performing project teams.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify process improvements and optimize project delivery practices.
• Benchmark best practices and manage scope changes effectively.
• Analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.

Key Deliverables

• Projects delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• High customer satisfaction (CSAT).
• Accurate reporting and MIS to the PMO.
• Strong risk, issue, and dependency management.
• Delivery aligned with business objectives.

Role-Specific Knowledge

• Strong understanding of project management frameworks, tools, and reporting.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience with complex change management or transformation programs.

Qualifications

🎓 Education:

• Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
