Singapore Airlines is seeking a senior leader to command our operational incident response and ensure rigorous compliance across all IT services. In this high-impact role, you will be the central commander for critical incidents, drive our compliance and security posture, and lead continuous improvement in our IT operations.
You will be responsible for safeguarding our services against disruptions and ensuring they meet stringent regulatory and security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR). The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security, capable of leading cross-functional teams under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Incident Command: Act as the primary incident commander during high-impact operational and cybersecurity events, leading coordination and resolution efforts to minimize disruption.
- Compliance & Governance: Lead IT compliance initiatives, ensuring all services and infrastructure adhere to regulatory standards. Conduct risk assessments and audits to proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities in collaboration with the Information Security team.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive the automation and optimization of DevOps and ITSM processes. Champion initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, system readiness, and cross-team communication.
- Leadership & Mentoring: Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring teams and promoting skill development to build a resilient and collaborative workforce.
Requirements
- Experience: 7-10 years in IT operations, with 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing DevOps, ITSM, or compliance.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in ITIL frameworks; DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Kubernetes); and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure situations, with exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
- Compliance: Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS), preferably within a highly regulated industry.
