Our client is looking for a Web Application Developer with strong WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript experience, plus working knowledge of .NET/C#. You’ll join a collaborative digital team supporting the corporate website and related platforms, working across both front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate is comfortable building user-friendly, high-performance web applications and ensuring smooth integration between WordPress and .NET environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Customize WordPress themes/plugins and ensure compatibility with .NET/C#.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend teams.
- Optimize site performance, accessibility, and cross-browser consistency.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum workflows and support sprint delivery.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain scalable code.
- Stay current on modern web technologies and suggest improvements.
- Support migration efforts as the team explores new frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, integrations).
- Strong PHP, JavaScript (Vanilla/React/jQuery), HTML5, CSS3 skills.
- Experience with Bootstrap or Tailwind.
- Familiarity integrating WordPress with .NET/C#.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, Git, and CI/CD.
- Experience with high-traffic WordPress sites and site security.
- Knowledge of MySQL/SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
