Accountabilities
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs to support global onboarding and KYC processes.
- Design scalable, reliable systems using modern cloud technologies and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to convert product visions into actionable roadmaps.
- Debug and resolve complex technical problems while ensuring systems are maintainable, secure, and operationally efficient.
- Review feature designs for security, operational integrity, scalability, and architectural clarity.
- Continuously optimize backend processes to improve user onboarding and conversion metrics globally.
- Contribute to a culture of high-quality code, documentation, and technical excellence across the team.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend development.
- Proven experience designing, building, and scaling production-grade services and service-oriented architectures.
- Proficiency in Golang and experience with modern cloud infrastructure and backend technologies.
- Familiarity with database systems such as Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB, and experience with Docker or containerized deployments.
- Solid understanding of system design, coding best practices, and maintaining secure and reliable platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative and transparent approach to teamwork.
- Passion for building financial systems that are open, scalable, and globally impactful.
- Nice to have: experience with blockchain technologies, growth experimentation, or A/B testing frameworks.
