We are looking for a senior full stack engineer who can design, build, and maintain high-quality web applications across the entire stack. This role requires deep expertise in modern front-end development with React, paired with strong backend engineering experience in PHP and Ruby on Rails. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of solutions end-to-end, and contributes to a strong engineering culture focused on quality, maintainability, and user impact.

We are looking for a senior full stack engineer who can design, build, and maintain high-quality web applications across the entire stack. This role requires deep expertise in modern front-end development with React, paired with strong backend engineering experience in PHP and Ruby on Rails. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of solutions end-to-end, and contributes to a strong engineering culture focused on quality, maintainability, and user impact.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Build, optimize, and extend backend services and APIs using PHP and Ruby on Rails
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Own feature development from concept through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
- Improve application architecture, performance, and reliability across the stack
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
- Integrate with third-party APIs, internal services, and cloud-based infrastructure
- Troubleshoot production issues, debug complex problems, and deliver timely fixes
- Contribute to engineering standards, tooling improvements, and best practices
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency with React, including hooks, state management, component design, and build tooling
- Solid experience with PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or custom frameworks) for backend application development
- Strong Ruby on Rails expertise, including ActiveRecord, background jobs, RESTful APIs, and MVC patterns
- Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization
- Experience building and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
- Strong Git and GitHub workflow skills, including versioning, branching, and pull request management
- Familiarity with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with caching layers such as Redis or Memcached
- Background in automated testing frameworks for both front end and backend
- Exposure to DevOps practices, monitoring tools, and application logging
- Experience working in fast-moving startup environments
