Job Title: Junior Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Vienna, Austria

Contract Type: Initial 6-month contract

Compensation: €170 per day



Position Overvie

wWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Vienna, Austria. The successful candidate will provide technical support, assist in maintaining our IT infrastructure, and ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience to develop their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment

Key Responsibiliti

  • esProvide first-level support to end users for hardware, software, and network issue
  • s.Respond to support tickets and resolve problems in a timely manne
  • r.Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and softwar
  • e.Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems and infrastructur
  • e.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they aris
  • e.Support IT inventory management, including hardware assets and software licence
  • s.Assist with the implementation and maintenance of network infrastructur
  • e.Troubleshoot network issues and ensure compliance with network security protocol
  • s.Participate in network configuration and optimisation project
  • s.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, processes, and policie
  • s.Prepare regular reports on IT activities and system performanc
  • e.Contribute to the development of user guides and training material
  • s.Collaborate closely with senior IT staff to support ongoing projects and initiative
  • s.Participate in training sessions to improve technical skills and knowledg
  • e.Provide basic training and support to end users on IT systems and application

s.Qualificatio

  • ns1+ years of experience in an IT support role or similar positio
  • n.Internship experience in an IT environment is an advantag
  • e.Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principle
  • s.Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS operating system
  • s.Knowledge of basic network analysis technique
  • s.Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practice
  • s.Strong problem-solving and analytical skill
  • s.Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • s.Ability to work well in a team-oriented environmen
  • t.Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality suppor
