A leading international consultancy is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join their team on a flagship hyperscale data centre project based in Finland. This is a key appointment offering the chance to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a high-profile data centre programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the project planning function for a major hyperscale data centre development.
- Work closely with the end client, main contractors, and internal project teams to ensure robust planning and scheduling across all project stages.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise detailed construction schedules in alignment with project objectives.
- Analyse progress, identify potential risks or delays, and provide mitigation strategies.
- Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, and programme updates for senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and project controls systems.
Experience & Requirements
- Extensive data centre experience—ideally hyperscale or large-scale mission-critical environments.
- Strong background in main contracting, with a track record of delivering complex construction projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard planning software (e.g., Primavera P6).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, international project environment.
