Senior Golang Developer

Location: Düsseldorf, hybrid

Contract: Permanent

Our client is a big (2k employees in all major cities in Germany) company with several digital products and services on the market that make easier daily life of their customers.

You will find the dynamics of e-commerce, agile processes, flat hierarchies and steep development curves.

Now they are looking for a Senior Golang Developer to make their product even more customer-friendly and efficient.


Requirements:


  • Solid experience in development with Go, ideally with gRPC and MySQL
  • Knowledge of performance optimization, on-premise systems, and monitoring (e.g., OpenTelemetry, ELK stack)
  • High-quality awareness, ability to work in a team, and initiative
  • High willingness to learn and motivation
  • Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1).


Responsibilities:


  • Further development of our high-performance Go application with gRPC and MySQL to ensure high performance even with growing data volumes – you build it, you run it
  • Architectural decisions are made together within the team, with everyone having the opportunity to actively shape the architecture
  • Optimization of the release process and performance monitoring (e.g., with OpenTelemetry)
  • Mentoring junior developers and working closely with the team
  • Taking on technical responsibility with prospects for personal development
