As the Senior Product Manager of Supplier Compliance and Data Management, you’ll shape the technology and processes behind our supplier catalog and elevate our product data capabilities. The biggest challenge
Help us build smarter product data systems in a fast-changing world. Regulations are popping up everywhere, and we need solid data processes that can keep up—without slowing us down. New products arrive daily, so our systems need to be both robust, scalable and flexible. But the real challenge? Getting over 1,000 suppliers on board—many of whom are used to doing things their own way, in their own systems. We’re not here to play compliance cop. Instead, we want to make following the rules feel like a step forward, not a burden. That’s where you come in: combining smart tech with a people-first approach to make change feel natural and seamless.
What you'll do as the Product Manager of Supplier Compliance and Data Management
As part of the Retailer 1, our first party retail organization, you’ll lead the way in improving how we manage and grow our product catalog. That means working closely with engineers, data experts, and commercial colleagues to set the vision and strategy for our product data systems using continuous discovery. You’ll dig into how things work today, spot what’s missing, and turn those insights into opportunities. From defining what we build to measuring how well it works—you’ll be leading every step of the way. And it’s not just about tech. You’ll also help over 1,000 suppliers get on board with new ways of working. Starting with their customer feedback, you create smart strategies, make adoption easy, and show the value of change. It takes persistence and people skills—because you’re not just building products, you’re building trust.
- Define and execute the product vision & strategy for compliance & data management
- Lead discovery initiatives to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Shape scalable master data capabilities with compliance as the foundation
- Cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Tech, Commerce on data standards
- Establish clear KPIs and metrics to measure quality, completeness, and compliance
- Champion a data-first approach and an experimental product culture
- Drive change management initiatives to align and commit 1,000+ suppliers
You combine 5+ years of product management experience (ideally in e-commerce or retail tech) with a keen eye for data quality and compliance. You understand that clean, reliable product data isn’t a nice-to-have but a competitive advantage. As a strategic thinker who embraces hands-on problem solving, you thrive in cross-functional settings where collaboration matters as much as delivery. You are comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and excel at translating complex technical concepts into compelling narratives that unite stakeholders – from engineers to suppliers.
