KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development
- Define and execute product-specific strategies, including target market pricing and positioning.
- Develop and manage comprehensive product roadmaps, specifically overseeing the 5-Year Integrated Roadmap (5YIR) to ensure long-term growth.
- Align regional and local business objectives with global corporate strategies, collaborating closely with Sales and Product Cluster Managers.
2. Product Lifecycle Management (PLC) & Innovation
- Steer the entire Product Lifecycle (PLC) through the stage-gate process, from concept to successful product launches.
- Lead innovation initiatives to address customer pain points, integrating new technologies to build robust business concepts for new product development.
- Monitor product performance post-launch, gather customer feedback, and drive continuous improvement plans.
3. Market Analysis & Commercialization
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to translate insights into clear product requirements.
- Deliver application know-how and communicate product/solution benefits effectively.
- Partner with the Marketing team to design and execute impactful product launches and marketing campaigns.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
- Coordinate with engineering, design, and sales teams to ensure product feasibility, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage technical documentation, specifications, and create training/support materials to empower sales teams.
- Balance customer needs with business goals while proactively assessing and mitigating risks.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 8–10 years of Product Management experience, specifically within the electrical component industry.
- Global Exposure: Mandatory experience working in Multinational Corporations (MNCs) with demonstrated ability to collaborate across local, regional, and global teams.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Strong capability in data-driven analysis, foresighted thinking, and strategic prioritization.
- Technical & Innovation: High competence in core technology innovation and functional/software expertise.
- Business Acumen: Result-oriented mindset with strong decision-making and entrepreneurial skills.
- Communication: Excellent writing and presentation skills; able to act as a facilitator and collaborator.
- Creativity: Ability to think outside the box to solve complex problems.
