Apprenticeship – Digital (Data Analytics)
Sunbury-on-Thames • Remote or Hybrid
£22,100 + £3,000 sign-on bonus
BP Energy is hiring Level 4 Data Analytics Apprentices to join its digital organisation. This two-year programme is designed for school/college leavers or individuals without a degree who want to start a career in data analytics. You’ll work on real analytics projects across global teams while completing a Level 4 qualification (likely delivered by Corndel).
What you’ll do:
- Work alongside data analysts, product managers, data scientists and engineers
- Bridge business and digital teams to deliver data-driven insights
- Perform data analysis and generate actionable recommendations
- Build and maintain dashboards and metrics
- Apply statistical techniques, data manipulation and analytics best practices
- Automate data ingestion, transformation and quality checks with support from data engineers
- Present findings to stakeholders across BP
- Contribute to BP’s digital transformation and analytics strategy
What you’ll need:
- Aged 18+ by September 2026
- Completing A-levels/further education in 2026 or holding a relevant Level 3 qualification
- Demonstrable coding knowledge (tested during the process)
- A-level grade C or above in Computer Science/IT, Maths or Physics
- GCSE grade 4/C or above in English and Maths
- Eligible under apprenticeship levy rules (EEA/UK residency for 3+ years or appropriate work permission)
- Cannot already hold a qualification at Level 4 or higher in analytics/data
- Not suitable for candidates with a university degree
- Interest in data, analytics, and problem-solving
