Job Title: Network Engineer

Contract: 12 months

Location: Dublin, Ireland - Hybrid 3 days onsite

Description

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support lifecycle, upgrade, and day-to-day activities across 120 plant and distribution centres globally. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience with the Cisco Catalyst 9000 series, including switches, APs, and wireless controllers, as well as familiarity with Cisco IOS XE.

Responsibilities

• Provide lifecycle and upgrade support for network infrastructure across global sites.

• Manage day-to-day network operations, including troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Handle firewall requests, upgrades, and policy updates, with a focus on Checkpoint R80 and

R81.

• Collaborate on ongoing projects involving network management and upgrades.

Essential Skills

• Strong Cisco LAN & Wireless experience with Catalyst 9000 series.

• Proficiency in Cisco IOS XE.

• Experience managing Checkpoint Firewall requests and updates.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst Center, DNA Center, Prime is preferred.

• Experience with ServiceNow and Logic Monitor is preferred.

• Netbrain experience is a plus, with training available.
