About Us:

Notewise (https://www.notewise.dev/) is transforming the way people take notes — and we’re just getting started. With millions of users worldwide, Notewise empowers individuals to capture, organize, and share their ideas effortlessly. We’re proud to be Google Play’s Best App for Personal Growth 2024 and a nominee for the 2025 Apple Design Awards, reflecting our commitment to delivering a meaningful and user-friendly experience.

We’re a young, dynamic startup with an agile, dedicated team driving innovation together. At Notewise, you’ll find a collaborative and welcoming environment where creativity thrives and every contribution matters.

About the Job:

This isn’t a “push pixels” role. You’ll own how Notewise looks, feels, and tells its story — across the app, website, and every touchpoint with our users. If you’re excited by a blank canvas, bold ideas, and growing with a product used by millions, this is for you.

You’ll work directly with the founders, engineering, and marketing to:

  • Shape the product experience (UI/UX) of our app and web
  • Build a cohesive brand identity that stands out in the productivity & AI space
  • Craft digital marketing creatives that make people stop scrolling and pay attention

What You’ll Do:

Product & UX

  • Own the end-to-end design of Notewise across mobile and web (from flows and wireframes to polished UI)
  • Turn messy ideas into clear user journeys, prototypes, and interaction patterns
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ship high-quality, practical designs
  • Use user feedback, data, and your own product intuition to refine and improve experiences

Brand & Visual Design

  • Define and evolve the Notewise visual language: colors, typography, illustration style, iconography, motion, etc.
  • Create and maintain a design system that keeps the product and brand consistent as we scale
  • Design marketing assets: landing pages, social posts, ads, app store assets, email visuals, and more
  • Work with the founders and marketing to shape campaigns and visual storytelling

Culture & Process

  • Set up lightweight design rituals and processes that work for a small, fast-moving team
  • Advocate for design thinking and user empathy across the company
  • Grow with the company — this role has the potential to evolve into leading a design team in the future

Who You Are:

  • You have strong visual taste and care deeply about both aesthetics and usability
  • You’re comfortable working across product design and brand/marketing design
  • You’re excited by ambiguity, fast iteration, and shipping quickly instead of polishing forever
  • You think in systems: components, patterns, and guidelines that can scale
  • You communicate clearly, give and receive feedback well, and enjoy collaborating cross-functionally
  • You’re genuinely curious about AI, productivity, and note-taking (or willing to dive in!)

Experience:

  • ~2–5 years of relevant design experience (product, UI/UX, or brand/visual)
  • A portfolio that shows:
  • Real product work (web or mobile)
  • Strong visual design and typography
  • Examples of branding/marketing or campaign design are a big plus

We care more about your work, creativity, and potential than your exact years of experience or job titles. If you’ve been at a large company but crave more ownership and speed — or you’ve been at smaller teams and want to take on a bigger canvas — we’d love to hear from you.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience designing consumer apps, productivity tools, or creator-focused products
  • Comfort designing in Figma (or similar tools) and handing off to engineers
  • Experience with motion design, illustration, or simple animations for product & marketing
  • Experience running or participating in user research and usability testing

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
