Mastercard is looking for a Lead Technical Program Manager to support its Modern Access team and drive the effective use of Agile Scrum across the organisation. This is a high-impact role focused on improving delivery, team effectiveness, and operational alignment — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
What you’ll do
- Lead the adoption and execution of Agile Scrum practices across the team
- Serve as a core member of the leadership group, coaching peers and teams
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and experimentation
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies and ensure they are outcome-driven
- Track velocity and performance metrics to drive team optimisation
- Support backlog refinement and ensure prioritisation is clear and actionable
- Align project tracking and reporting with Mastercard’s wider standards
- Prepare materials for quarterly business reviews
- Guide teams in Agile principles, servant leadership, and cross-team collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison for audit-related tasks, ensuring compliance and documentation quality
What you’ll bring
- Strong understanding and advocacy for Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience supporting multiple Scrum teams, ideally across global locations
- Skilled in facilitating ceremonies and removing delivery blockers
- Ability to coach teams, leaders, and stakeholders in Agile values
- Proficiency using Jira, Confluence, and Agile performance metrics
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
- Certified Scrum Master (preferred but not essential)
- Degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or related field
