Position Information

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in data science, data analytics, computer science, computer information systems, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in data analytics and applied research or social science research.
  • Proficiency in Data analysis and Business Intelligence Tools such as SPSS , SAS , Python, SQL , Microsoft Power BI, Tableau.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to transform raw data into actionable insights and create interactive data visualizations to support student success initiatives. Proficient with data structural and SQL queries.
  • Demonstrated experience with data visualization and reporting tools.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree.
  • Experience in higher education.
  • Experience with Elluician Banner.
  • Experience in predictive analytics.

Position Details

Position Purpose

The research Analyst and BI developer plays a pivotal role in advancing the university’s mission of supporting student success. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models, dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that provide actionable insights to campus stakeholders.

This role directly supports a wide range of student success initiatives, including data collection, transformation, analysis, reporting of student success programs, and developing platforms to track and monitor students behaviors and academic performance. To support retention, persistence, and graduation outcomes.
