MasterSearch is working with a global high-tech engineering group recognised for its expertise in advanced materials, precision processes, and innovative technologies. Operating across three continents, our client combines decades of industry experience with a forward-thinking, collaborative culture that values innovation and continuous improvement.


They are now seeking a Product Manager – Metrology to lead cutting-edge analytical solutions, driving product strategy, development, and market success within the global semiconductor industry.


Location – Hybrid working set-up in Germany. Company HQ close to Jena


Main Responsibilities;

  • You conduct market and competitive analyses in the global semiconductor environment to identify new requirements and trends.
  • You will be responsible for product management of innovative analytical products and solutions
  • You will support the sales team with technical customer questions, presentations, and training.
  • You will develop product strategies and roadmaps in close collaboration with R&D, the application lab, sales and service.
  • You will contribute to the creation of product documentation, application reports, and marketing materials.
  • You oversee the entire product lifecycle: from the initial idea to market launch and beyond.


Profile;

  • Several years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry would be ideal– ideally in product management or technical sales of equipment, systems or chemicals for microprocessor manufacturing.
  • You have successfully completed a degree in chemistry, physics, materials science, process engineering or a comparable technical or scientific field.
  • Ideally, an understanding in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Experience working with international clients and interdisciplinary teams.
  • You are characterised by strong analytical skills, a structured way of working, and a high level of initiative.
  • Willingness to travel around 30% in a global customer and partner environment, with a focus on Asia, completes your profile.


Languages;

  • You have very good German and English skills and communicate confidently in both languages.
